Early Decision is a binding agreement between the student and the college. By applying under ED I or II, students commit to attending that college if admitted.

It is recommended to discuss ED I or II with your LAHS school counselor & LAHS college advisor.

LAHS Early Decision Integrity Agreement

• Students may apply to ONE college each under Early Decision I and/or Early Decision II.
• It is the family’s responsibility to confirm affordability and financial aid.
• The student agrees to withdraw all other pending college applications if admitted.
• The student will update Naviance with the ED I admission result before their school counselor will to send midyear reports and/or transcripts in January.

LAHS counselors must sign an ED agreement in Naviance on behalf of the student, student’s family, and the college, reflecting the above expectations.
